Make Music! June 19-23

Music is one of the things that makes us unique in the animal kingdom.  There are few other animals that make noise in groups for the pleasure of the sound it creates. In this camp we will be creating music in all it’s forms, from simple string instruments to percussion. Horns, harmonicas, and maybe even a machine that goes ‘BING!’ Along the way we will learn about how sound travels through different mediums, how to make more effective noises, and some of the science behind how we hear and interpret as humans. Don’t worry, though!  This is not music or science class, this is still a maker camp.
