Our signature camp has come back! In cosplay camp, each camper gets to create their own weapon, shield, or piece of (small) armor from their favorite tv show, manga, comic book, or movie. In the past we have had video game devices, props, shields, swords, and signature equipment built in this camp. There are only a few limits, based upon size and complexity. This year, we will have two weeks of Cosplay, and this is the first one. If a camper signs up for both, they will be able to do a more complex project, but don’t worry if they can’t be in both camps! We have always had a great week of building, and the projects that come out of your campers are always amazing. A note for parents: This camp is the REASON we say ‘you get out of it what you put into it’. The projects are ok’ed by us before they can build them, so we won’t set them up for failure by making something too complex. If they choose to spend time not working on their projects, we let them. There are 20 kids working with sharp objects, hot glue, and some tools and machines. We don’t have time to keep everyone on task if they decide to just chill for the week.
