It is a brave new world, full of different space age materials, and new ways to combine them. Along with new materials come new ways to manufacture, and being able to visualize the world in 3 dimensions is essential for anyone interested in art, science, engineering, chemistry, sculpture or any other field that creates real world objects. In 3D design, we work with both our hands and minds, using a different medium every day. We will use clay for additive and subtractive techniques, build armatures with paper mache, use layering with cardboard and plastics, digital design for 3D printing, and 2.5D techniques like laser cutting. Get out of the 2D world of screens and join us as we work in the third and fourth dimensions!
