Art is part of what makes us human. From cave paintings to canvas, humans have always had a need to share their experiences with others of the tribe. Like most skills, the best way to get good is to practice new things, and look at things from different perspectives. This week will be spent trying out different art styles. We will talk about realism and classical lines, as well as cartoons and caricatures. There will be lots of practice on big drawings, small drawings, pencil, ink, and paints. We keep things moving and try to give everyone time to try new things as well as get better at their own personal style. This is a pretty chill camp, with a lot of discussions, listening to cool music, and creating art. Probably not a good camp for those who need to be constantly externally entertained.
