A happening event Sat May 24th from 10 AM – noon led by Fab Lab Director Kirk Cheyney.
Do you have a garden, or know someone who does? Do you have trouble collecting the cauliflower? Picking the peppers? Carrying the carrots? Well no more!
Kirk will lead you through a fun and fast class on building your own custom harvest basket for all the produce you produce. The wooden walls keep it sturdy, while the hardware cloth sides and bottom make it easy to spray the gunk off your greens!
We will use a few pieces of equipment for this build, including the table saw, router, router table, wire cutters, and various hand tools and sanding. This is a perfect class for a beginner, as we will be using different templates and jigs for a professional looking final result.
