Ceramic Workshop: Wheel Throwing
Are you constantly worried about breaking your dishes?
Are you sick of ready-made mugs and commonplace cups?
Are you looking for a therapeutic creative outlet?
Our wheel throwing workshop is the cure to your dilemma. In this five week course you will learn an introduction to wheel thrown pottery. Each week you will work with a stoneware clay to learn and hone new techniques. This class will teach you about wedging your clay, centering, throwing, trimming, engobes/finishing design, glazing, and firing. Each participant will receive a ten pound bag of clay and the guidance to make cups, plates, and bowls.
This workshop includes four sessions for throwing and one for glazing. Workshop takes place every Thursday.

Stained Glass Class
This class is designed to satiate the thirst for stained glass. Whether you’re curious about how it is made, interested in learning a new media, or don’t care about stained glass at all, this class is perfect for you!
This is a two session class where you will learn to cut and fashion your own stained glass!
Each student will have their choice of various colored glasses and after three hours of guided work time, will leave with a finished project.

Woodshop Basics: Pushstick
Learn the woodshop basics! This two hour course will allow you to get familiar with woodshop tools and techniques.
Each student will be creating a wooden push stick. This stick allows the wood worker to push material through a table saw safely and is an essential tool used in any woodshop.
You will learn to use tools such as:
Table Saw
Band Saw
Drill Press
Sanders
Routers
